The main areas of academic professional experience are: Analysis and design of mechanical and mechatronics systems and also study and research of their applications in industry. Specifically in:

  • The Interdisciplinary Field Of Mechatronics: [Design of Smart Machines - Design of mechatronics systems including the necessary multidisciplinary aspects of design (mechanical, electronics, control, and computer), Automatic control, Hydraulics and Pneumatics control Engineering, Sensors & Actuators, and PLC Control ]
  • Engineering Mechanics & Applied Mechanics, Mainly in Automotive: [Statics, Dynamics, Strength Of Materials, Vehicle Design (using CAD)- Fatigue and Cyclic loading, Vehicle dynamics (using Computer simulation – MATLAB, SIMULINK- ADAMS ) - Finite element analysis of different stresses - and Automotive electronics (Auto-tronics)].

In this regard, I have solid relations with the Technology Competence Centre, TCC (Established by the Egyptian & German governments). I can be an active member or a leader of a team to prepare, share in and/or supervising the execution of a standardized or tailored programs in: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, CNC, Modular Production Systems, Automotive Technology, Automotive Electronics, - Electric, Electronics, Closed Loop Control, Process Control, and Programmable Logic Control (PLC).

 

6: CURRICULUM DESIGN :

                              The activity in curriculum design is as follows:-

  1. Being the main member of curriculum design committee for the interdisciplinary mechatronics program at Philadelphia University, Amman, Jordan. Approved by the Jordanian High Education ministry and the department was established as independent entity starting from the academic year 2002/2003 and I was the 1st chairman..
  1. Curriculum Design for a new Section, " Automotive Engineering Section" in HTI; Sixth of October City. Approved by the Egyptian High Education ministry and started to accept students from the academic year 1999/2000.
  1. Curriculum Design of a course 1st time to be taught in MTC " Modern Automotive Control Systems" -Mechatronics applications in Automotive systems (Auto-tronics); Approved by the Higher council of the Egyptian Universities and taught starting from the academic year 1997/1998.
  1. A member of the local Experts Committee of Curriculum Design for Industrial Education Colleges (IEC); Courses of Mechanical Engineering (Automotive Specialization), The courses contents were approved in July, 1994 through the Technical Education Development Project (TEDP), Ain-Shams University, Ministry of Higher Education.

7- INITIATIVE PROPOSAL FOR Development & Upgrading the aleady applied Mechatronics Program at HTI.

      Based on the experience mentioned before (Items 3-6 of this curriculum vitae), a preliminary proposal for upgrading the already applied interdisciplinary specialization (Mechatronics) has been proposed and it is being discussed in a committee from Mechanical, Electrical, and Computer departments. This is in order to be approved and applied Considering the technological advance in this field and also the needs of the local and middle eastern countries.
