Quality
Control and Monitoring
Maximum quality control and monitoring will be
exercised for the duration of the project by
instituting the following procedures:
A 360º feedback system will be introduced, for
peer appraisal by students, teaching staff and
industrial participants, to ensure continual
evaluation and modification of the education
system. The process will be an essential
element in ensuring that the learning aims and
outcomes are attained in the most efficient way
and will include interviews, questionnaires, and
assessments.
Bimonthly quality-review and evaluations, by the
Egyptian consortia partners and the grant
holder. Yearly evaluations by non-affiliated
(external) personnel from the EU, will be used
to assess project achievements, and highlight
possible areas of modification within the
project framework.
There will be constant contact between the
co-ordinator and all consortium member contact
persons, to make mutual academic decision and
amendments.
The project will seek formal internal approval
from the Supreme Council of Universities and the
Ministry of Higher Education in Egypt, as well
as external approval from the relevant
international bodies, for the new proposed
courses, to guarantee the acceptability of the
curriculum within the international higher
education system.
